What’s better than gathering around a hot drink to learn more about your colleagues and their day-to-day lives at the studio? (Playing video games, yes—but that’s not the point.) At Gameloft Montreal, we organize monthly “Coffee With...” sessions, where Gamelofters can ask one of our directors or managers questions. Questions like: What’s your favorite game or movie? How many meetings do you have this week? How did you end up joining the studio? How does it feel to work on a brand-new IP like _REDACTED_? How do you take your coffee?
Days pass by so quickly—it’s easy to get so absorbed in work that we forget about the social aspect of our jobs, and the importance of taking some time to cool off with colleagues! We believe that these shared moments are essential to the strengthening of the bond between team members and departments within the studio. They also bring us a better understanding of how the various departments are managed. All that from the comfort of your home!
