The brief

Magnum wanted to celebrate the launch of its new product, Magnum Macadamia Salted Caramel, by reaching consumers when they were using their favorite transportation-service app, Grab.

Our Solution

We developed a browser-based mini-game embedded in the Grab app, prompting users to play to win prizes with Magnum. The objective was simple: Collect as many Magnum ice creams as possible to win prizes!

Innovative approach: We used players’ GPS as the in-game speedometer—the faster the Grab rides, the faster players collected Magnum ice creams in the game!
