Update 61 Patch Notes

As things are starting to cool down outside, we're just getting warmed up. Our next update will be the biggest of the year, adding in a whole heap of new things: a new element, a new event, a new storyline with new characters, a new body type... [and breathe]... a new habitat and of course all-new dragons to collect in the coming weeks!
We'll be releasing The Tyrant Update next week! Here's what's being added...

The Lost Tyrants

This new event will be replacing the Divine Events, and it'll be where the unfolding saga of Dragolandia will primarily take pace for the time being. Through this event we'll be introducing our two new characters, Paola and Portia, as they join our cast of Dragon Trainers and Vikings in search of the lost Tyrant Dragons.
The first of these four-week long events will start in December, taking place in the wintry north in search of the first of the lost Tyrants. We'll reveal more about the new setup of the Tyrant Event in the coming weeks, so stay tuned for that.
The main point to remember, however, is that The Lost Tyrants events will come with an all-new event type...

Dragon Grid

We couldn't introduce an all-new storyline event without something new to play with. Dragon Grid will be the main gameplay element through which players can collect Tyrant Tickets, unravel the Lost Tyrants storyline and earn themselves extra rewards.

We'll be revealing some more details about this new event later this week in the event timeline – and even in a detailed explanation video.

The Simian Body Type

At the start of the year we added the Trampler body into the game, but before that we were concepting a number of potential new body types that we might consider introducing into the game. As a result of that concept process, we also decided to create one themed around gorillas, giving these dragons a mighty look thanks to their powerful forearms and strong almost prime ape appearance. We've already got a few of these new Simian body types ready to release and these will be added into the game.

The Armored Phasm Tyrant Dragon is one of these new Simian body types, so you'll be able to get your hands on one of these as early as December!

The Tyrant Element

We've revealed everything there is to know about the Tyrant Element in a video, but it's in this update that everything associated with the new element will be added into the game. We've seen that there are still many questions surrounding this element and we plan to prepare a Q&A video to answer all those that remain unanswered, so if there's still something you're pondering then don't forget to write your question down in the #TyrantElement forum thread

A New Winter Habitat

The Tyrants will be coming with their own Habitats, but on top of this we'll also be introducing the new Snowbound Habitat to bring a more wintry feel to your Dragolandian islands.

General Bug Fixes

On top of all this, we've also prepared a few fixes for some issues affecting the game. These are:
- Fixed an animation glitch for the Blue Seraph that affected its wings when charging an attack.
- Fixed a visual issue that appeared when petting Nihl in adult form.
- Fixed a few instances of menu buttons not playing an interactive audio cue when being pressed.
