Job Purpose:
- As a Senior Product Marketing Manager at Gameloft for Brands, you will drive the marketing for mobile games, managing their entire lifecycle, from strategy to execution and optimization, under the supervision of Marketing Director. Your mail objective will be to drive the success and growth of your product by ensuring that it effectively reaches its target audience and meets market needs. You will be responsible for creating and implementing strategies that position the product in the market, resonate with the audience, and lead to high adoption and engagement.
- This role is located in our production studio in Ho-Chi Minh and you will work closely with local Production teams, as part of game team.
- You will also work and coordinate with marketing team members located in various territories worldwide and with an extended network of experts (ASO, UA, Consumer & Market Insights, Social Media, Press Relations, Influence, etc.).
Principal Accountabilities:
- Conduct market research, benchmarking and consumer studies to identify trends, game target audience and define its positioning marketing pillars and USP;
- Participate in game development by making recommendations to improve user experience, engagement, retention, share-ability, and to better integrate in-game promotional events and marketing mechanisms;
- Build launch & yearly marketing plans relying on solid user insights and strategically aligned with product roadmap, with the objective of generating brand awareness, retention and ultimately growing the player base;
- Develop clear and innovative marketing strategies including compelling positioning and messaging for the product;
- For each marketing activation, build compelling strategies with clear KPIs objectives;
- Define brand vision and build creative kick-off for your game and launch the creation under CAT Lead supervision;
- Supervise the creation of the game brand identity (title, packaging, tone of voice, marketing storytelling, etc.);
- Supervise promotional assets creation for your game (trailers, web assets, screenshots, icons, etc.);
- Manage game & promotional assets approval with copyright owners (e.g. Universal, Disney, LEGO, etc.) – if applicable;
- Draft the App Store Optimization (ASO) strategy by identifying relevant keywords, improving search rankings, and refining product descriptions;
- Collaborate closely with ASO experts to ensure the final strategy maximizes visibility, downloads, and engagement for mobile products on app stores;
- Optimize the game visibility and performances on the app stores, working hand in hand with the ASO Expert;
- Track and analyze product store performance on weekly and monthly basis with clear analysis, conclusions and actionable plan;
- Share performance reports of your marketing activations with production team, studio leads, HQ & copyright owner;
- Develop Post mortem reports for all marketing activation to share clear conclusions with KPIs and actionable plan with clients;
- Lead the Marketing product vision for UA campaign to ensure concepts relevance and brand consistency and follow UA performance report every week to identify issues if any;
- Collaborate with the user acquisition team to optimize the advertising campaigns targeting and assets;
- Create documentation and pitch for games;
- Support the sales team by providing them with product knowledge, marketing assets, and insights into customer needs;
- Follow closely the awards submission and support Creative Director if needed;
- Oversee the Social Media & Community strategy, including through the direct management of the Game Community Manager if needed.
