As part of Gameloft's in-house Creative Agency Team, the Video Artist will report directly to the Creative Agency Lead, working closely with the Marketing and User Acquisition Team. Key responsibilities include:

  • Producing highly engaging video content, such as video trailers and ads for various marketing purposes, to be published across multiple platforms including Google Play, App Store, Microsoft Store, Steam, PlayStation, Nintendo, Xbox, and more. Additionally, creating video ads tailored for performance channels like Facebook, Google Ads, TikTok, YouTube, and others.
  • Designing and/or modifying 3D scenes, models, and animations in Unreal Engine for use in promotional materials and video ads.
  • Will be creating video content for different games, each with its distinct visual and communication style, always with the goal of engaging users and encouraging them to download the game.

Overview:

Production

  • Create engaging Marketing trailers and videos that captivate our audience, showcase the game's unique features, and drive player interest.
  • Create engaging video ads to enhance User Acquisition efforts and attract new, engaged users for our games.
  • Capture exciting in-game gameplay and cinematic footage directly from the game engine or game build.
  • Create and/or modify 3D scenes, models, and animations in Unreal Engine for use in promotional materials and video ads.
  • Adapt videos into various formats, ensuring optimization for different platforms and distribution channels. Manage video compression, encoding, and formatting standards for web, social media, and other platforms.
  • Enhance overall video quality by incorporating sound effects, music, text, graphics, and other elements.
  • Take full ownership of the video production process, from concept development to final delivery.

Communication

  • Incorporate client feedback (lead / internal teams / licensor) and ensure revisions are completed on spec and on time.
  • Adapt quickly to feedback from stakeholders, including marketing, legal, and licensing teams, ensuring the final product aligns with requirements.
  • Participate in meetings and consistently contribute fresh, creative ideas.
  • Provide input into the creative direction for video content, shaping the overall narrative and tone of marketing videos.

Consistency & Guidelines

  • Learn and adhere to artistic, IP, and licensing guidelines.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all video materials, maintaining a cohesive visual and narrative style across campaigns and platforms,

Organization & Reporting

  • Manage and maintain a video asset library, organizing raw footage, edited videos, and assets for easy access and future use.
  • Monitor the performance of video ads and collaborate with internal teams to improve results by providing insights and recommendations.

Innovation

  • Use creativity and innovation to propose new ideas and formats to elevate video production.
  • Offer creative suggestions for video projects, focusing on visual storytelling, pacing, and overall design.
  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to integrate them into video editing workflows.
  • Keep up with trends in gaming and video platforms, applying relevant innovations to content creation.
