Sonia Ettinger Joins Gameloft as Vice President Human Resources

Paris, February 20th - Gameloft announced today the appointment of Sonia Ettinger as Vice President Human Resources and member of the company’s Executive Committee headed by Stéphane Roussel, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer.

As Vice President Human Resources, Sonia will oversee all HR strategies, in collaboration with local teams in the 25 countries where Gameloft is present. She will play a key role in accompanying the Studio Managers and local teams in all human resources activities. Her mission will also encompass talent development in every department within Gameloft.

Sonia will lead HQ and local HR teams around the world to bring all her HR expertise and initiatives to life.

Sonia Ettinger’s Biography

Sonia Ettinger is a graduate from University of Paris II (Panthéon-Assas) in Private Law. She also holds a Master degree in Labor Law from La Sorbonne University. She began her career in 2003 at Humblot-Grant Alexander, a recruitment agency, dealing with IT practice. In 2007, Sonia first joined the video game industry with Ubisoft, mostly dealing with international teams. Three years later, she was hired by video game developer Quantic Dream as Human Resources Director for the production of Beyond Two Souls. In 2016, Ymagis Group, the European specialist in digital technologies for the cinema and audiovisual industries appointed her as Vice President, HR.

Her experiences in strategy, leadership and talent management in both the creative and tech sectors led her to return to the gaming industry as Vice-President HR in summer 2019 at Gameloft.
