Gameloft for brands – in Partnership with Outfit7 – and Mondelēz International Launched the “Oreo Rush” Token Event in Talking Tom Hero Dash
From August 12 to September 2, Gameloft for brands teamed up with Outfit7 and Mondelēz International for an exciting three weeks branded activation in South East Asia in the popular game Talking Tom Hero Dash, a thrilling runner game part of Outfit7’s award-winning Talking Tom & Friends franchise.
“We were giving users the chance to actually play with a brand, and therefore connect with its products even more. This partnership – and ones like it in the future – allows us to give our fans more than ever before,” said Igor Lautar, Senior Vice President of Sales at Outfit7.

The Oreo-themed immersive event called the Oreo Rush was the first-ever OREO branded event of its kind in South East Asia. “This was a fun new experience for our consumers,” explained Vikram Chandratrey, Head of Marketing at Mondelēz International. “The Oreo brand stands for playfulness, and we wanted our consumers to have a playful connection with people and the world around us. In this time of the pandemic, people are spending more time than ever at home and looking for avenues to keep themselves entertained.” “Furthermore, we offered special vouchers where gamers could redeem the voucher with special edition #SayItWithOreo cookies through e-Commerce and enjoy the bite with family at home”.
Players had an exclusive opportunity to run, jump and collect OREO biscuits and unlock special in-game rewards with the charming characters from Talking Tom. This activation was available on both Android and iOS in Thailand, Vietnam, and Indonesia.
Oreo Rush was a huge success its performance results speak for itself:
- More than 1.5 million players reached
- Over 92 million runs during the event
- The average time a user spent running during the event was over 14 minutes
